Our Journey
Sacramento Wesleyan Methodist Church has been an organized church for over 50 years. The church started on Bell Street here in Sacramento and then moved to the location they are at currently. With a heart for outreach, Sacramento WMC has been marked by their robust bus ministry that has ran throughout the city. Sacramento Wesleyan Methodist church has services for all ages and welcomes young and old alike to worship every week.
What we believe
~ We believe the Bible is the inherint Word of God and that it is a "Lamp to our feet and a light to our path."

~ We believe there is one God. We believe that this one God is made up of the trinity - God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

~ We believe that Salvation is the only source of hope for a lost and dying world. Confessing the sins that were committed and asking forgiveness from God will bring Salvation through the blood of Jesus. Salvation is a gift of Mercy and Grace that is extended to all who would believe.

~ We believe in Sanctification. The carnal affections of the heart must be dealt with in order to live a life above sin and the world. Sanctification is the second work of grace, where the carnal nature is eradicated and the Holy Spirit is imparted.

~ We believe in the seperation from the affections and the things of this world. The Scripture is clear that those who are walking in the beauty of Holiness are a distinct people, living in the world but not of the world.

~Â We believe that we are to be fishers of men. Doing our best to witness to others the work that God can do in them.

~ We believe in Heaven and Hell. This life lived is equaling eternal consequences and we believe that it is the choice of every soul on where they will spend eternity.

Our Leadership
Rev. Trevor Troyer
Pastor Trevor Troyer, along with his wife, Rebekah, and their son, Judah, has faithfully served as pastor of the Sacramento Wesleyan Methodist Church since September 2025.
Following his graduation from high school, Pastor Troyer attended Allegheny Wesleyan College. After completing his studies, he returned to his home church in Canton, Ohio, where he served as a layperson while beginning a career in the financial and investment industry.
In 2020, the Lord opened the door for Pastor Troyer to begin his preaching ministry as the interim pastor of his home church. In 2021, he was called to serve as Youth Pastor at Canton First Wesleyan Methodist Church. During his time there, he led a renewed effort in youth outreach, seeking to reach young people with the Gospel and encourage them in their walk with Christ.
